dollar P&C
insurance
company with
an
international
footprint.
Client has
grown
organically
and through
acquisition
over the
years and
has recently
re-organized
its internal
organizational
chart in
order to
complement
its growth.
Client is
seeking a
Group CFO.
Reporting to
the SVP of
Finance for
North
America, the
Group CFO is
the key
business
partner for
the Business
Unit
leadership
and its
President.
The Group
CFO is the
key
strategic,
operational
initiative
partner and
financial
resource for
the
President.
Compensation
is open but
gravitating
to the
$200,000
range on the
fixed with
short term
cash bonus
target which
should take
the role to
the $300,000
range all in
on the cash
piece. Long
term
incentive
compensation
may also be
available.
Major focus
and
responsibilities
include:
-
Drive
regional
and
market
strategies,
budgets,
execution
of key
initiatives,
forecasts
and
recording
of
actual
results.
-
Partner
with all
corporate
finance
units to
provide
and
drive
preparation
and
dissemination
of
management
reporting
to BU
CEO and
team
-
Support
the BU
CEO in
understanding
the
financial
results
as well
as
developing,
communicating
and
evaluating
risks
and
opportunities
in the
region.
-
Support
the BU
CEO to
design
and
drive
the
management
oversight
process
of the
region.
-
Partner
with the
BU CEO
and team
to
define
and
drive
corrective
action
plans,
operational
initiatives
and
financial
initiatives.
-
Ensure a
system
of
internal
controls
is in
place
within
the BU
and make
enhancements
as
needed.
-
Provide
comprehensive
balanced
advice
on
finance
policies.
-
Frequently
interact
with
senior
leadership,
inside
and
outside
the
organization.
-
Manage
and
thoroughly
monitor
strategic
projects
that
have an
impact
inside
and
outside
of
finance.
-
Establish
and
cultivate
a strong
relationship
with the
financial
leaders
of our
relevant
customers.
Strong
knowledge/background
in the P&C
space is a
must. A
CPA and MBA
is ideal. A
