     Oracle DBA (data warehouse) Tampa contract

 
Our top-tier client is seeking a Sr. Oracle DBA for a 12-month plus  contract. They will be responsible for the design, development, and support of mission critical Oracle-based applications and assist the development team with query structures, optimization and troubleshooting. Responsibilities also include documentation and test plans, internal customer interaction, and stress testing.

REQUIRED SKILLS
 
  • Data Warehouse Concepts and Design
     
  • Data Modeling and Analysis
     
  • ETL Operations
     
  • Oracle Warehouse Builder 10g R2 and 11g
     
  • Oracle SQL and PL/SQL Programming
     
  • Database Administration with emphasis on Backup and Recovery for a Data Warehouse environment and VLDBs
     
  • Performance Tuning
     
  • Problem Analysis
     
  • Oracle XML Toolkit
     
  • Oracle RAC in a Linux environment
     
  • Oracle Data Guard
     
  • Oracle Workspace Manager

    Experience with these skills are a plus:
     
  • ESRI's ArcGIS Server using ArcSDE
     
  • Business Continuity
     
  • Microsoft .NET
