THIS POSITION IS IN NEW YORK CITY $300,000 to $550,000 Plus Bonus PLUS BIG FIRM BENEFITS Our client is Global Bulge Investment Bank with offices across the world the organization provides services and products to clients on 5 continents. As part of growth they require an SVP - US Head of Tax Structuring to manage a group of Tax professionals in providing tax structuring support to the business. As SVP - US Head of Tax Structuring you will be responsible for managing a team of tax professionals who provide tax structuring advice and support to business units. The responsibilities include; Providing advice to the business around the implications of tax transactions involving products that the banking units offer Overseeing the level of support provided on US tax matters by the tax team Ensuring a high level of structuring advice from external counsel Working with the IRS around new financial products Work with members of the corporate tax department as well as tax planning and finance areas to ensure smooth flow of information Qualifications The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate; A minimum of 10yrs experience of working in tax structuring within an Investment Bank, Hedge Fund or Legal Firm.
