Data Warehouse/ETL Developer is responsible for designing and developing new tables and load processes. Responsibilities include data modeling, ETL design, Job Stream design, documentation, support/management of 3rd party tools, and 7/24 production support (oncall rotation) of Netezza Data Warehouse.
Expertise needed.

2+ years DBA experience with a large Data Warehouse (Netezza, Teradata)
2+ years ETL Tool experience
2+ years UNIX (AIX, Linux) experience
2+ years Unix Shell Scripting (Korn/Bash) experience
Data Modeling
Star Schema Database Design
SQL
Design and implementation based on established standards

Requirement:

SCD type 1, 2, 3
Snowflake, Denormalized, Hierarchical, Conformed dimension tables
Transactional, Periodic, Accumulating fact tables
ETL vs. ELT
Row level logic vs. Set level logic
Error Handling during ETL
Suspended transactions, Out of order, Reprocessing, Repairs, etc
Aggregate design and maintenance
Data Modeling approaches for ODS, EDW, Data Mart
Skills:

UNIX (AIX/Linux)
Unix Shell Scripting (Korn/Bash)
SAS DIS (Data Integration Suite)
ER/Studio Diagramming Tool
AutoSys Job Scheduling Tool
