International Tax Manager Big 10 job in New York

Full benefits,

Salary $130K to $200K base w/bonus possible to $300K

Manhattan office. This position would deal with a variety of tax issues for corporate clients ranging from tax planning, restructuring, due diligence, audit defense and research and writing memorandum for companies with presence in multiple taxing jurisdictions. This position involves advising U.S. and foreign multinational companies on the U.S. and foreign tax implications of their international operations. You will be responsible for coordinating U.S. tax laws with foreign tax laws to obtain an optimal worldwide strategy. This position will have an opportunity to network extensively with existing and prospective clients and assume a high degree of responsibility and exposure within the firms.

Required 5 to 12 years exp. MUST HAVE come from Big 4 or large National regional preferably in NORTH EAST Education Required Undergraduate degree (BA / BS), Masters of Taxation or JD desirable, but not essential (depending on prior experience). Job Requirements Strong technical tax background from 5+ years international tax experience with a professional services (including law) firm, industry or the government, with emphasis on areas of tax law governing inbound and outbound investment, including the foreign tax credit and limitation, Subpart F, cross border property transfers, reorganizations, branch profits and interest tax, FIRPTA, withholding tax, foreign currency, and tax treaties. Strong research and analytical skills. Client service and creative problem solving orientation. Strong written and oral communication skills.
