A very prestigious financial organization is looking for a Senior Java Developer to support the design, development and support within their financial modeling and research area. The Java Financial Model Developer will be responsible for the development of brand new code, as well as the enhancement of the existing code base within this market and credit risk teams. The Java Financial Model Developer will also be responsible for helping assist other areas of financial research and engineering. If the candidate is experienced enough, there will also be the opportunity to home in on management skills by leading the team of junior developers also.
The successful Front End Java Developer- will have the following skills.
Experience designing and developing distributed application (runs using ~500 processors in Linux cluster).
Work with Credit or Interest Rate models in to model performance framework (preferable)
Expert
Java
programming
skills.
Java
6.0
is
preferable.
(Java
6.0,
Swing/Flex,
GUI,
Unix/Linux,
PHD, MSC)
Java EE framework
Swing (ideally), although Flex is acceptable
Good C++ (STL) skills.
RDBMS (Sybase OR DB2 preferable)
SQL
UNIX/Linux
PHD or MSC Junior Candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
