Senior VP Operational Risk Job New York

Global Investment Bank is seeking a senior level VP of Operational Risk. The VP of Operational Risk MUST have 5-15 years of working experience in the operational risk space within banking & finance. The risk manager must have stellar abilities in working with senior business, strong knowledge of the operational risk framework, risk reviews, work well with strategic initiatives, experience in risk mitigation regarding new product launches, capability to liaise with audit & compliance, coordinate with record/data management division to ensure risk management is in accordance with rules and regulations. Candidates applying should have strong generalist operational risk exposure, solid communication skills, be a team player and the ability to bring opinions/value to the team. An academic background in business is preferred not required. Series 7 preferred not required.
