VP Bank Regulatory Compliance New York   Title: VP/Director of Bank Regulatory Compliance Location: Manhattan $150K to $220000 The client, an international investment bank, is seeking  a VP or Director level for a Bank Regulatory Compliance role. This role will help provide Compliance support to the banking business units. Management experience is not necessary, but this person must have in-depth knowledge of banking regulations. This candidate will work directly with the Head of Bank Regulatory Compliance to develop Compliance policies that uphold securities laws and regulations, as well as developing metrics and reporting systems. Additional responsibilities include preparing regulatory examinations, monitoring regulatory developments, reviewing business lines, and providing Compliance training. This role requires a senior candidate with thorough understanding of banking regulations, as well as risk management and operational procedures. This candidate must be able to keep abreast of regulatory developments and assess the impact on the bank. There will be significant interaction with Operations and Business groups to provide training for new procedures and making sure that new regulations are enforced. This candidate must have at least 3-6 years of experience with Bank Regulatory Compliance; experience at a Federal Regulator is preferred.
