The audit manager will be responsible for establishing strong work relationships with Asset Management and Private Banking business management and other control groups.

The audit manager will work closely with other regional/global business and information technology audit colleagues within the Asset Management team in the early identification of emerging control issues and reporting them timely to Audit management and business stakeholders.

The audit manager will perform ongoing analysis of risk trends through the development and implementation of audit coverage and perform detailed control assessments and test work across multiple Private Banking functions and processes.

The audit manager will have to develop recommendations to strengthen internal controls and improve operational efficiency and ensure audits are completed timely and within specified timeframe and budgets.

READ CAREFULLY, ALL SKILLS NECESSARY

We are seeking
6 - 10 years of Private Banking/Wealth Management audit experience.
Detailed knowledge of products and services such as investment management, brokerage, banking and credit, trustee services and specialty wealth advisory services
Knowledge of applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
Proven ability to build strong partnerships with key stakeholders, desire to learn quickly, be flexible and think strategically
Enthusiastic, self motivated and effective under pressure
Strong analytical skills particularly in regard to assessing the probability and impact of an internal control weakness
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex and sensitive issues to senior management in a persuasive manner.
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related discipline PLUS an MBA degree, professional accountancy qualification and/or other professional certifications, such as Series 7 or CFIRS are a plus.
