Job description

• Manage portfolio of audits in a specific business area
• Liaise with other Senior Audit Managers and Audit Partners on effective use of resources across audits (audits teams are specialized)
• Meet team leader of the audits they manage to brief them on new audits, update and close audits.
• Review key audit documentation submitted by the team leader
• Maintain an overview of the on going progress of audits across the portfolio
• Attend close out meetings with business
• Provide guidance on overall audit direction and resolution of problems
• Regularly meet stakeholders to build on going relationships with them
• Work within the business to understand their strategic objectives and business priorities
• Engage with business to resolve problems and ensure the smooth running of audit activities
• Contribute to the deliverables prepared by the Audit Partner e.g. Opinions, Monthly Control Reports, and Audit Plan


Who we are looking for

The candidate must have the following skill set:

• Must have audit experience or relevant knowledge of business areas
• Relationship management experience in the Financial Industry
• Business specific product/technical knowledge is a must
• Highly developed knowledge of banking/financial services business processes
• Knowledge of audit techniques
• Strategic overview of the specific business area and related risk
• Candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of experience with experience of running a team
